  • Sobriety Court for persons with alcohol or drug addictions, an alternative to jail, if addicts really want help.
  • Community oversight with drug forfeiture funds when assets are seized Lawfully by police authorities, not illegal SAFE unit of current State's Attorney
  • Juvenile Justice Program for teens to make better choices

Attorney at Law 24 years, experience in criminal law, family law, real estate, probate and local government law.  Former Assistant State's Attorney and Assistant Public Defender, handling hundreds of cases in all levels, juvenile through felony.  Former Office Manager for LaSalle County State's Attorney prior to law school.

Extensive volunteer experience, served on boards for LaSalle County Mental Health 708, Red Cross, Library Foundation, Senior Center counsel on elder abuse, domestic violence program counsel; graduate of Leadership Institute of Highland Community College; NIU Outstanding Woman Student Award; NIU College of Law '92 award for Outstanding Contributiion to the law school community, and ISBA student division public service award.

conservative Republican views but open-minded and unbiased about people's life circumstances; believe in prosecution that is honest and unbiased, not based on retaliation.  Prosecutors have a duty to seek justice.
