My Top 3 Priorities

  • Regain the trust of the public. We must be open and honest in all of our actions. The community must know that our office is fair, honest and just.
  • Rebuild office morale. Early retirement incentives offered at the county has had a devastating impact on our office, while those positions have now been filled the experience has not. I will work closely with staff to find more efficent and effective
  • I will work closely with the county administrator and the county board to find any and all cost saving measures to improve our budget

Community Activities

Steward, AFSCME Local 2025 (2006–current)
Delegate, Quad City Federation of Labor (2011–2013)
Secretary, AFSMCE Local 2025 (2007–2013)

I am 41 years old and I have been married to my husband Brad for 10 years.  We live in East Moline with our son Bradley who is 4 years old. My daughter Samantha lives in Silvis with my granddaughter Tiffeny. Brad and I also own a small business in Moline.

I come from a large family, I am one of 6 children. My siblings and I are very close and most of us still live in this area.  My Mother Katy lives in Coal Valley with her husband Dave and unfortunately we lost our Father in 2014 to a long battle with heart disease.  My Father had his first heart attack at the age of 40 and was unable to return to work due a number of other health issues. I come from very humble beginnings, I learned at a young age the value of hard work.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I am a life long democrat and I remember I just couldnt wait to vote.  I believe in equal justice and equal rights. Fair play and moving everyone forward together.  I feel we need candidates that know the value of collective bargaining and fair share.   Especially now when those basic rights are under attack. I am and will continue to be a voice for labor.
