About this office

Illinois appellate judges are elected by the people of their district and serve 10-year terms. They hear appeals of verdicts from the circuit courts in their geographic region and determine if Illinois law was applied correctly by the lower courts.
These incumbent judges are not being evaluated against an opponent. You may vote ‘yes’ for each of them to keep their seat for another term or ‘no’ for them to not retain it.
