Shall Iroquois County be authorized to impose a public safety tax at the rate of .0025 upon all persons engaged in the business of selling tangible personal property at retail in the County on gross receipts from the sales made in the course of their business? This would mean that a consumer would pay an additional twenty-five cents in sales tax for every $100.00 of tangible personal property bought at retail.
